Exploring Creation in Chemistry
by Todd Elder
Chemistry is the branch of the physical sciences that examines the properties, composition, and structure of atoms, elements, molecules, substances, and compounds. Although more elementary particles exist, the subatomic is generally not a focus within chemistry and is instead studied within the science of physics.
The Science of Chemistry
Chemistry in the Physical Sciences Within the field of chemistry, there is an emphasis on how these items react, transform, and exchange energy when interacting with each other. These all form from the roughly 100 naturally occurring atoms and about a dozen man-made atoms.
Chemistry in the Earth Science Within the earth sciences, chemistry mostly works with inorganic compounds. There are approximately 3000 naturally occurring minerals which are studied in the science of geology.
Chemistry in the Biological Sciences Within the biological sciences, chemistry deals largely with organic compounds and water.
Chemistry in the Model of Creation The field of chemistry demonstrates the youthfulness of the universe through the lack of reaching equilibrium and it also shows a special creation through the existence of the medium to heavy elements.
