Routine Righteousness

Defining Righteousness
Levels of Righteousness There are two levels of righteousness in the Scriptures. The first is the Righteousness of Messiah that leads to Salvation. This is very different than the righteousness of our actions that lead to the Almighty's favor in our life. Our righteousness is to follow the example of our Savior. In this regards, our righteous actions can be viewed as a fruit of our salvation.
Definition of Righteousness Righteousness is the salvation of man come to fruition. |
Our Actions Because this part of our righteousness is in our actions it applies more directly to things physical than it does spiritual. This is also a strongly mental discipline since we have to make the decision, and stick with it, to do what is right rather than do what is wrong. Gaining the favor of the Almighty has tremendous impacts in our lives both physically and spiritually.
